About Fergus Watershed Biodiversity Preserve

Fergus Watershed Biodiversity Preserve is located at 168 Street and 14 Avenue in South Surrey. The City acquired the park in 2009 to protect the Fergus Creek headwaters and to provide opportunities for residents to enjoy nature.

Currently the site is under development and closed to public access.

Management Plan

The management plan for this open space was approved by Council on March 23, 2015. Read the Fergus Creek Management Plan to learn more about this site.

The Parks department is now working to develop this parkland in keeping with the management plan to protect, enhance and preserve the different natural areas on site. The pump station, parking lot and first of 3 bridges is complete. Trail work will come next.
